The Celtic Liturgy Planning Team will host a fall retreat afternoon on Saturday, September 12 here at the church.
You are invited to come along if you’d like some quiet spiritual refreshment.
Bring your own lunch, and a snack to share. We will eat together at 11:30, with the retreat starting at noon. Group activities will include silent prayer, singing, gentle yoga, a sound bath (we hope), and sharing reflections. There will be plenty of time for various free-choice individual activities, including a guided reflection walk, books of Celtic prayer/poetry, art supplies, and pictures for visio divina. You can bring your journal, knitting, or other activity if you wish, or just sit quietly outdoors in nature – whatever will refresh your spirit. The retreat will end at 4:00 after a closing worship service.
“A spiritual retreat is not about a physical space. It is about learning to quiet the mind so we can tackle some of the most important questions of life.” –Kathy-Ann C. Hernandez
