WOMEN’S CHRISTMAS TEA
Saturday, January 4, 2025, 1:00 p.m.
In the Parish Hall
Ladies of St. David’s and their friends are invited to enjoy a holiday tradition! Women’s Christmas (or Nollaig na mBan (pronunciation Null-ug na Mon) in Irish Gaelic) is one of Ireland's biggest traditions and is observed on January 6. On this day, women traditionally get a much-needed rest after catering to everyone during the holiday festivities, while the men take on household duties for the day. Well, whether our men take on the housework or not, we can still celebrate!
Bring your favorite teacup and saucer. If you don’t have one, there will be a few extras available. Or maybe this is a good excuse to visit your local antique shop or tea shop to find a new favorite!
We plan an afternoon of relaxation, good food, and great fellowship. Come join us!
So that we know how many places to set and how much food to make, please RSVP by December 28 to Nadine Grady (ngrady56@outlook.com) with the names of those attending, and any serious food restrictions.
