For the past two years, the Building Bridges; Healing Divides program has been working with teams of 3-5 people from seven congregations around the diocese to build congregational learning and develop ministry that recognizes and bridges divides found both within the congregation and the communities they serve.
Our first cohort has completed the program and is nearing the completion of their grant funded ministry experiments, and we are recruiting our second cohort to apply and enter the next 2 years of deep learning around listening to act, developing practices for ministry and relationships that hope to heal wounds caused by the social, cultural and political divisions of our current time and context.
