Faith, labor, and civic leaders are fighting to restore the integrity of our local housing dollars. In 2020, the Spokane Alliance organized and won funding for thousands of new affordable homes in Spokane by passing the HB 1590 Housing Levy which would fund thousands of housing units over its lifetime, but this money has remained largely unspent and at risk of being used for other purposes.
St. David's is a member of the Spokane Alliance, and will have members at this Housing Assembly to be a visible presence in support.
Join us as we ask Mayor Lisa Brown and City leaders to commit to our vision of building new, affordable homes that are so urgently needed and prioritizing projects that address the legacy of housing discrimination in our city.
